The St. Croix Valley Community Foundations Partners for the Future

The St. Croix Valley Community Foundations Partners for the Future Initiative is a unique opportunity for the St. Croix Valley Branch of Big Brothers Big Sisters to raise matched funds for a long term agency fund/endowment. The Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northwestern Wisconsin’s Board of Directors and the St. Croix Valley Advisory Committee has committed to fundraising $35,000 from 2006-2009 in order to ensure that the impact on youth through our spectacular program will be lifelong. Anyone can contribute to this fund and gifts of all sizes will be matched by the Foundation. Regardless of wealth, donors can make meaningful contributions to Big Brothers Big Sisters permanent fund through one-time gifts or by pledging over the three years of the Initiative. The St. Croix Valley Community Foundation will match gifts of cash and marketable securities made to Big Brothers Big Sisters’ permanent fund at the Foundation during the three-year challenge period. The Foundation will also accept real estate, life insurance policies, and other gifts on a case-by-case basis. Donors can also make grants from their donor-advised funds into Big Brothers Big Sisters permanent fund.

Now is the perfect time to make a difference with a gift that will provide twice as much support to Big Brothers Big Sisters. Your gift is more than a donation-it is an expressed desire to share our future and create a better tomorrow.

Leave a Lasting Gift that will have "Big" Impact on Children in the Chippewa Valley

A bequest is as simple as it is powerful; with a few words in your will, you can continue to be an advocate for children and their future well beyond your lifetime. Chances are, even after you have made adequate provisions for family and friends, you can have a bigger impact than you ever thought possible-and you don't have to be wealthy to do it!

Best of all, when you make a bequest, you will have the feeling of having done something significant and meaningful for Big Brother Big Sisters and the youth we serve. It is our mission to foster caring mentoring relationships that will change a child's life forever.
