School & Site-based Programs

All it takes is one lunch-time out of your week to laugh, talk or play a board game with your Little Brother or Little Sister.  It doesn’t take much to make a positive difference to a child that will last their lifetime.

Anyone can volunteer; employees, retirees, people with flexible daytime hours and parents not employed outside of the home.  You do not need any special experience or skill; you just need to be yourself and ready to make a difference.

How does it work?  It’s simple!  You meet with your Little Brother or Little Sister at their school or a specified site at the same time once a week.  Together you can eat lunch, talk, read or play games.  Employees who volunteer as a Big return to work recharged, knowing that their time spend has made a tremendous difference.  You will have a Big Brothers Big Sisters staff member working with you to act as a liaison with the school and to provide support to ensure a positive experience for both you and the child.
