Be a Part of Something BIG!
Becoming a Big Brother or Big Sister can open a world of possibilities for a child simply by being a genuine friend.
All it takes is one lunch-time or an hour after school out of your week to laugh, talk or play a board game with your Little. Through simple friendships, Bigs experience the joy of helping children discover a world of possibilities and opportunities on the playground or in the classroom. Local businesses can become involved in our “Lunch Buddies” program and form a Corporate Volunteer Partnership.
Bigs provide Littles with one-on-one time and attention typically two to four times a month. Together they enjoy activities such as fishing, baking cookies and raking leaves. During these unstructured outings, they cultivate relationships that provide children with skills to manage everyday challenges.
