Standard Rules

The Big Pickleballooza is a 4-person team event that consists of 2 men and 2 women (18+).

Each team will battle other teams in MLP format form. In the MLP format, team matches are composed of four games, with the first two (2) games being women’s doubles or men’s doubles, and the final two (2) games consisting of mixed doubles.

If teams are tied after the four (4) games, an innovative singles tiebreaker known as a DreamBreaker™ is played.

The DreamBreaker format is a singles competition, with each team member playing and rotating after every 4 points, up to 16. Rally scoring will be used for all games.

• Teams must have 2 men and 2 women

• 24 teams max with 2 pools of 4 in each division

• Teams will be split into 3 divisions (8 teams in each division): Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced

• Seeded single elimination format for each division following pool play

• 4-game guarantee

We will be recognizing the winning team of this inaugural event with a trophy once the single elimination format is complete.
